After moving to Sydney, Australia from the United Kingdom, we began providing consultancy services in 1996. Initially trading as “Lab2 Design Unit”, we provided clothing and graphic design, drafting and product development services for clients like Bonds, O’Neill Australia, SMP, Sara Lee Apparel (Australasia) and more.

Nick Lo

I’m one of those cross-breeds between designer and programmer that is either multi-skilled, or not very good at a lot of things, depending on the way you look at it. Since we are based in a non-urban part of Australia, being multi-skilled is really a necessity.

Having worked professionally as a designer since 1990, I started developing websites in 1998 for clients in San Francisco and since then, have focussed on web design and development.

I’m also co-author of Zend Framework in Action which is apparently the “The worst programming book ever” or a “Great book on Zend Framework” depending on which of the Amazon reviews you choose to read.
